Shining Vale: Season 2 (2023) - Principle Set Costumer
Costume Designer: Annie Bloom
There was a particular scene that I was able to help age on set where the son Jake has been trapped within the walls for an uncertain amount of time (possibly multiple days or weeks?). He was going to need his costume and his stunt double to reflect this ridiculous passage of time.
I was able to age the look with a combo of powders, 70% alcohol, hairspray, and mineral oil while also collaborating with HMU and SFX artists on set.
Disney's Launchpad Shorts S2: "Beautiful, FL" & "The Roof" - Ager/Dyer
Costume Designers:
Laura Cristina Ortiz (Beautiful, FL)
Wlaa Elashkar (The Roof)
I had the opportunity to work on a few projects for the second season of the Launchpad shorts and utilize my aging skills to help make several costume pieces and props look more lived in/have character.
Many of these items were purchases, so I was able to add more permanent aging techniques. Worked with alot fo canvas and leather textures and discovered how to weather metal pieces as well.
LES MILLS: "Choose Happy with
Brett Goldstein" - Ager/Dyer
Costume Designer: Michelle Martini
Was tasked to age various multiples and at 3 different stages of getting progressively dirty. The designer wanted a warehouse dusty base look and a naturally lived in base.
Since these had to be shipped out to New Zealand, I used mostly airbrushing techniques with Dyenaflow paint to make sure there wasn't alot of pigment shifting while it was flown over.
Unfortunately, the lighting in the commerical hid most of the details and not all of the pieces were used in the final product. So enjoy all of the dirty little details here!
